Livarot AOC

Traditionally showing five stripes of sedge grass encircling the outer rind, this cheese has gained the nickname “the Colonel”. Livarot presents a strong, pungent aroma and a distinct spicy taste.   A washed-rind cheese, it has an orange-brown slightly sticky rind.

How to Enjoy:

Livarot is excellent with any full bodied red wine and it also teams well with an Alsacian Gewurztraminer or with a classic apple cider.
