Toma Piemontese PDO

This cheese has a long history being made since the Roman Empire.  It is a versatile cheese and can present with a variation of character and taste.  Age and season largely factor in this varience.  Overall it is a sweet cheese with some grassy and woody notes.

It can be melted for many purposes…perhaps improvise using this rustic cheese in your own recipes! Teams well with a dry Chardonnay or even a medium bodied sparkling red.
