Taleggio PDO

An imprinted four leaf brand is visible on the top of Taleggio’s sticky, orangey-pink rind. During production it is washed with sea water or brine and then put in wooden boxes, each holding eight cheeses. The signature aroma is full and pleasantly pungent. The interior offers flavours of rich cream and fruit.

How to Enjoy:

Taleggio is an excellent table cheese… very delicious with fresh crusty bread.  It can be used in many recipes (as it melts readily) but is also traditionally served at the end of the meal with apples, pears, or figs.  Goes well with a sturdy Cabernet, or pair with a fruity beer.
