Roaring Forties

This cheese is named for the strong winds that historically are responsible for many a shipwreck along the isolated coast of King Island. Likewise, the blue spicey flavour of Roaring Forties is full and piquant. It is moist and creamy in texture, and the signature outer black wax coating ensures a fruity and salty note on the finish.

How To Enjoy:

As with most robust blues, Roaring Forties can work on a grilled steak, in a salad, and, of course, alone on a small morsel of sourdough bread where its full character is revealed. Serve with a sweet fortified wine or Port.
