Parmigiano Reggiano PDO

Parmigiano-Reggiano, often called the “King of Italian cheeses”, is made with only skim milk.  It is very hard when mature and is traditionally chiselled into rough grainy chunks rather than being sliced.  It is revered for its sweet, fruity taste that is strong and rich with a slight tangy finish.

How to Enjoy:

As it dissolves when heated, Parmigiano Reggiano is probably one of the most versatile cheeses for cooking.  Great for virtually any savoury dish…from breads to sauces, soups to pasta.  Its full-bodied flavour lends itself to wines that are crisp-white or robust-red.
