Montgomery Cheddar

A famous English cheddar and considered one of, if not the very best. It comes from Somerset where the cows graze on fresh grass, clover, and daisies.  It exudes the rich sweetness of the milk and offers a nutty flavour with a tangy onion finish.  Slightly peppery with age.  It is matured in muslin cloth on wooden shelves.

How to Enjoy:

One must taste this cheese alone to appreciate the exquisite cheddar notes. Excellent on the cheeseboard served with a full bodied Pinot Noir, Cabernet or Barolo.
