Migneron de Charlevoix

This lovely washed rind cheese has a smooth ivory paste and a straw to orange thin rind. It has a soft aroma reminicent of cream and yogurt. The flavor on the tongue is soft and buttery with nuances of fruit and nut.

How To Enjoy:

This cheese fills the role of semi-soft cheese beautifully on the cheese board, and it’s demure character means it appeals to many.  It is excellent on sliced baguette ovals, or as a delicate partner melted on boiled potatoes. Serve with a spicey but fruity Gewurztraminer, or with a fruity red such as Pinot Noir. Goes nicely also with a fruity Belgian beer.
