Madawaska

Named after the Madawaska River in the Ottawa Valley, this cheese is a soft surface ripened cheese with a delicate bloomy rind.  It presents with a citrus, yogurt aroma and furthers with a sweet lingering taste and a slightly mineral finish.  The pale paste is smooth and melts in your mouth.

How to Enjoy:

Delicious on the dessert cheeseboard, it is equally good on a warmed baguette.  It is a real treat to eat at any time of the day. This cheese is complemented with a fruity red wine or a Chardonnay of choice.
