Le Baluchon

This cheese is an outstanding award-winner! It has a golden washed rind and a pale yellow interior.  The aroma is meaty and full with a multi-layered taste that is sublime. The combination of milk from the farm’s Brown Swiss and purebred Holstein cows adds complexity.

How to Enjoy:

Certainly nice on the cheese board to share this outstanding Canadian favorite. Also excellent baked or broiled and perfect when melted on broccoli and cauliflower.  Light and fruity local wines or those from France’s Savoie region work very well.
