Jura Flore Comte

This cheese is made in very large wheels of 35 – 40 kg weight. It is one of France’s most popular cheeses.  The interior is firm, creamy and yellow in colour with a thin beige rind.  The Comte from the Massif du Jura region has aromas of toast and hazelnuts and taste reveals a fruity yet slightly peppery tang with a sweet finish.

How to Enjoy:

This cheese melts well and can be used in quiches, soups, and fondues.  It is also wonderful alone at any time of the day. It matches well with local Jura wines or Chardonnay.
