Crossroads Gouda

This lovely gouda hails from Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese in Woodstock, Ontario. It is family run with roots in Holland pre-1950. Lovely to look at, the round is covered in traditional polished yellow wax. When first cut, the aroma is sweet with hushed tones of grass meadows. This gouda is creamy sweet and buttery rich. Each bite reveals more of the complex character while the texture and feel is smooth.

How To Enjoy:

Ideal for sandwiches and snacks and welcome on the cheeseboard, it also works well in most hot dishes… from gratins to pasta. Perfect alongside a good Dutch beer or robust red wine.
