Caprifeuille is a classic log-shaped goat cheese from the Poitou-Charentes region in France. It has a lovely and delicate almond-coloured, wrinkled rind which starts out soft but matures to a more firm consistency.  The flavor is fresh and citrus with a slight lemon tang with a nuttiness that will progressively come to the forefront over time.

How To Enjoy:

This cylinder shaped cheese looks so very elegant on the cheeseboard, on the desert plate, or amidst a circle of leafy greens. Serve with a terroir specific Sancerre or Sauvignon for a regional complement.
