Very easily recognized by the wrap of chestnut leaves tied with raffia, this goat cheese originates in the southeren Rhone-Alpes region of France. This very special preparation and presentation is hand done and specific.
The flavor of this cheese is mild when young, becoming more nutty and tangy with age.
How to Enjoy:
Wonderful on the cheese board, or simply alone with a glass of fruity Provencal wine – either red, white, or rose.
