Pied de Vents
Pied de Vents hails from the wind swept Magdalen Islands of the St Lawrence. It is a washed rind cheese that clearly offers an earthy aroma with a lingering taste of grass, hay and flowers. The interesting name refers to the sun’s rays shining through the clouds.
How to Enjoy:
The unique grazing of the island pastures suggests serving this cheese as a feature on the cheeseboard to representat a unique terroir. A red Merlot goes well.
